Think deep coniferous forests and hilly terrain and you're right. It is through this rich nature that the journey takes you. In Uspastorp you will find commitment in a relaxed way, as a nice contrast to fragrant forests and bogs. Stone age stone coffins are interspersed with experiences in Uspastorp. A world-class disc golf center covers your route, as does the Uspastorp conference center with overnight accommodation. Maybe more than that if you just keep your eyes open. It is truly genuine in any case.

If you go from Jennylund from south to north, you follow the markings up the burnt hill alongside Stora Mettjärn and on through the forest landscape towards OK Alehof's clubhouse Dammekärr. Stora Mettjärn, which is one of the area's best bathing lakes, offers a refreshing bath. Here you can also enjoy the beautiful Marsh Gentian that occurs abundantly around the lake. At Dammekärr there is an opportunity to shower and rest if you want, (check opening times beforehand).

Before Starrkärr's church, you walk along a paved road and make your way through fields and slightly more difficult terrain from Grunne to Prästalund. You walk the passage calmly and carefully and you then get the reward in peaceful Prästalunden, a very nice natural landscape with nature paths and oaks. Breathe in, stop and just do nothing - if you want. The target is Starrkärr's church.

Welcome to the Uspastorp route.

About Difficulty Grading

The grading is tailored for Swedish lowland trails that adhere to the quality criteria established by the national framework for hiking trails.

Even and firm ground: The terrain is generally flat. The hike requires no need to use your hands for support. No obstacles. Bridges are always present when crossing waterways.

Uneven and/or soft ground: Some changes in elevation. Certain sections may require hand support to maintain balance. There may be obstacles such as low stiles and short stairs. Minor obstacles like stones and roots. Boardwalks are present.

Loose or slippery ground combined with steep sections: Technical parts require hand support. There may be obstacles such as high stiles and longer stairs. Frequent sections with stones and/or roots. Boardwalks with deeper surrounding water.
