The fourth part of the Kuststigen-trail across Orust. From the ferry location at Malö and along the islands of Malö, Flatö and Ängö, with the sea as a constant companion.

On the island of Orust, the Kuststigen-trail consists of the hiking trail "Across Orust", four different stages on a total of 44 kilometers of nature and cultural trail - from coast to coast. Along the route there is a wide range of cultural and natural monuments and thus is both a natural and cultural geographic experience. Along the trail there are many good examples of how the cultural landscape has evolved and changed since the first people came to Orust more than 10,000 years ago.Etappen börjar vid färjeläget intill Malö strömmar och går över Malö och sedan i nor-östlig riktning över Flatön.

The trail follows alternating roads, paths and old communication routes. In the middle of Flatön, just after the School Museum, the trail runs in a fairly hilly terrain and over a small bay where a series of stairs, a bridge and railings make it more accessible for the hiker.

The stage ends at the next ferry location, at Ängö, towards Dragsmark.
